| I go to college now, okay?!
so, a lot has gone down since i left San Diego...I drove up the west coast (stopping for a few days at my mom's house in Portland) before finally reaching the beautiful city of Seattle, WA. I started COLLEGE up here as a flute performance major and soon-to-be english major. I gotta say, college is really great. Im livin' a dream up here!
PICTURE TIME (because i know you dont look at my xanga for the words):
Before i left, Michelle and I did some modeling:
Haha, i stayed at the RB Radisson with my mom that night...check out the pattern on my comforter. P-I-M-P babaaay!
While in Portland, i introduced Princess Natasha to my ipod, which my mom gave me for my birthday:
Other things i did in Portland include watching the entire second season of Sex and the City (Irving has it on dvd haha!), shopping all around portland, and eating massive quantities of food. I also got lost SEVERAL times. its a new city, okay?!
then, i made it to the UW! George Washington himself was there to welcome me and my fellow students:
I love men who carry big swords.
i moved all my crapola into a tiny room with two other girls: Andra (whom some of you may already know) and Esther...
the funniest part was watching my mom get stuck up in my bunk bed....twice.
I was also greeted by something ive never really experienced before: AUTUMN!
see those leaves? apparently thats not their year-round color.
We sure do have a big library here at the UW...its a shame im illiterate.
on the day before the first day of classes, some bands played in an area of our campus. I think the one you see here is Harvey Danger. We also had the Presidents of the United States and a special appearance by (gasp!) "Pedro" from Napoleon Dynamite. nothin' like bands ive never heard of and B-list celebs to start the quarter off right! my friends and i also indulged in some free bowling, which i have no pictures of because i am terrible at it.

Just last weekend, Andra and i drove back down to Portland to hang with my mom, and the picture below is proof of how northwestern we are now:
for all you people back in san diego, i am wearing what we northwesterners refer to as a SCARF and VEST...here, people dont wear them with mini skirts and flip flops. silly californians!
that is really all i have to say about my adventures in college so far. college is really chill, and im having a great time. I basically play the flute and read books all day, so its a great deal for me! I love the people here, and im blessed to have great roommates and floormates. I will update again soon, i promise!
I now leave you with a picture of my cat in a bag:
dont think i dont adore you, Pamela

| summer's over, okay!?
well, it has been such an amazing summer for me....for the first time in a looong time, ive had time to relax and spend time with the people that matter most to me. I love you guys so much!
and now, as i get ready for college at the University of Washington, it is time for some hello's and goodbye's. listen up!
i would first like to say goodbye to my dearest cat Lucky, who has been the best cat a girl could ever ask for. i hope you enjoy living with my brother at his house! Im glad you didnt die of loneliness and starvation like my guinea pig Chalupa...
second, i would like to offer a fond farewell to my faithful nike cross trainers...this summer, they carried me through over 100 miles of hiking and running, and a half-marathon! props, shoes! Waiting for me in Portland is a brand new pair ...
 epic.
now that i have said my goodbyes, its time for me to say hello!
hello new house!
hello purple drapes (picked out by Irving)!
hello to my mother and her excellent fashion sense (and yes, that IS a skort)
 hello Princess Natasha!
 hello SEATTLE BABAAAAAY!!!!!

and last, but certainly not least, HELLO to my roomie and partner in crime up at UW! Happy Birthday on September 18th, hottie!

for anyone who wants to know, ill be back for all the long holidays and the summer...i have a bedroom at my grandparent's new place in Rancho Bernardo! For all the short holidays and three-day weekends ill be jammin' with KB and Irv at my home in Portland
i turn 18 soon (september 13th)!
there are some people out that i really miss. you guys know who you are...things arent the same without you! i love you!
